tokidoki + mimobot USB drives

Friday, May 16, 2008

(We’ve moved to a permanent spot in the Internet! Visit us at our new home www.tokidokizens.com as we continue to update you on the latest news on our favourite designer, tokidoki! See you there! )

We’re still on the lookout as to where these super adorable USB drives will land on our shores (SG) and if you’re still thinking whether it is worth the money to buy one, do note that they do come preloaded with loads of goodies from Simone Legno like desktop wallpapers, icons, avatars, soundbytes as well as the latest mimobot newsletter! For that alone, I think it IS worth the price (plus how can you resist not getting one of these cuties?) just to get the whole collection… hrmmm…

From the mimobot website, here are some delicious details about each of the characters:

Pastaio: You know, there’s an old saying – ‘never trust a skinny chef.’ We’d like to add to that ‘or a chef who’s not bright red and as evil as he is cute!’ Pastaio… makes sure you get your yummy Italian food with a side of ultra-cute and a sauce of heartwarming devilishness!

Pirate Nero: With an abundance of cuteness barely masking the rapscallion within, Pirate Nero sails the stormy seas of your data while at the same time giving a hollowpoint homage to Legno’s adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

Meletta: A word of warning – do NOT ask Meletta how she got that monkey on her head, or where the monkey got that banana, because she doesn’t know and, quite frankly, it’s ticking her off right now. Meletta is a constant reminder to eat your fruits before they eat you – or before that monkey on your back gets hold of them.

In the meantime we’ll just have to be content with shopping from these Asia-Pacific places!
