From wikipedia: tokidoki (sometimes in Japanese) is the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand created in 2005 by Italian artist Simone Legno and his business partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. tokidoki produces apparel and other products using art and iconic characters designed by Simone Legno.

(Also known as ‘The Story of Three Fangirls…’)

Once upon a time, Jackie chanced upon the amazing illustrations and toys of Simone Legno or tokidoki. She began her collection of tokidoki toys and managed to spread her interest to her friends, Sumomo and K. When bags and apparels started showing up, the 3 fan girls started scouring Asia for all signs of tokidoki.

However all was not a bed of roses. Information on the brand was few and far between in this part of the world and the three could only find exorbitant online auction prices or online shopping sites that ship only to the other side of the world. Worse of all were the legions of people who had absolutely no idea about tokidoki and therefore had no qualms about buying and carrying fakes.

For a while these three friends were depressed and resigned to the fact that all they could do was to support their favourite designer by themselves, however one day they decided that enough was enough and thus started Tokidoki in Asia!

Through this blog, the three fan girls hopes to bring forth an army of tokidoki fans in Asia, to spread the tokidoki love, map and document sightings and share their prized tokidoki collection.

One day they hope to see a tokidoki store open right here in Asia. =)
